The Career State Inventory – subject choices version is an adaptation of the Career State Inventory for use in Ireland with secondary school students making subject choices. 
This may be useful in identifying students in need of support regarding their subject choices.
Students identified using the CSI as being dissatisfied in this regard may particularly benefit from the Subject Choices Handbook resource above.

During the course of the NCGE Pilot Project Looking at Whole School Guidance in Junior Cycle; a number of participating schools developed resources to support their work in Whole School Guidance. These schools have agreed to make these resources available as they can support the work of all schools participating in planning, designing and delivering their Whole School Guidance programme.

This sample page can be used to support schools in planning in Whole School Guidance at Junior Cycle. It outlines the overlap between competencies, associated learning outcomes and the Wellbeing Programme in JC. The table included can be used to support the areas of learning and competences acquired during various units and in identifying elements and learning outcomes for key skills at Junior Cycle.

Career Information Booklet for Junior Cycle

This is a career resource which can be used with students in Junior Cycle. It can be given out by the guidance counsellor to the whole year group and can be delivered by the guidance counsellor as part of wellbeing or by a form tutor or other teacher providing a career element of Junior Cycle Wellbeing. A sample "Take Your Child to Work Day"  question form compliments this resource.

This resource may tie in with prospective career events which may be run in your school or at a venue near your school attended by students.
