All CPD programmes are informed by NCGE's Quality Assurance Procedures. The procedures give details of the systematic quality assurance procedures supporting the rationale, design, development, delivery, assessment, review and evaluation of its courses. The purpose of these procedures is to attain feedback from learners enrolled on NCGE programmes in order to ensure that its programmes are delivered to a high standard. 2018 Survey of post-primary guidance counsellors Continuing Professional Developement (CPD) needs
Over September and October 2018, NCGE conducted a survey of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) needs of guidance counsellors working in post-primary schools.
The aim of the survey was to establish guidance counsellors’ professional development needs in order to inform the planning, design, development and delivery of NCGE’s CPD programme for 2019 onwards.
