Planning the School Guidance Programme was developed by NCGE in response to a request from the Department of Education and Science. The process of development included consultations with management bodies, teacher unions, the Institute of Guidance Counsellors (IGC), National Parents Council (NPC), and other relevant organisations and support teams.
