The International/European Dimension of Guidance

What is the International/ European Dimension of Guidance?

Through European and international collaboration, the guidance system in Ireland has learnt about, contributed to and promoted models of best practice in guidance. The International/ European Dimension involves exchanging ideas, promoting best practice, and collaborating on innovative guidance projects. It includes promoting mobility through exchanging information on educational and labour market opportunities in different countries. It encompasses learning about other systems, learning from other systems and sharing best practice from the Irish guidance system.

Through active collaboration, euro|guidance has developed a number of tools and resources to aid the guidance community in promoting mobility (On the Move, ESTIA) and exchanging best practice (Guidenet). euro|guidance is also the support structure for PLOTEUS - the Portal of Learning Opportunities Throughout the European Space
